Mr. Herr’s practice focuses primarily on preparing and prosecuting patent applications with a technical emphasis in mechanical and electrical engineering.
Prior to joining WAVS IP, Mr. Herr was a graduate student at UC Berkeley where he was a member of the Pisano Research for Integrated Micromechanical & Electrical Systems Laboratory. His research focused on characterizing gas sensors for mobile platforms and development of an advective micromolding process for electronic device fabrication using vapor-permeable templates. He also has significant experience in microfluidic chip design and fabrication.
Mr. Herr graduated with high honors from UC Santa Barbara receiving a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and received an MS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from UC Berkeley.
